Uniform driving lessons.
It is a good idea that all driving schools will follow a common curriculum. I thought about this many a time in the past whenever I read messages and comments on Internet forums debating which amongst the driving schools in Qatar is the best place to go to be an effective driver. One person would say, XXX has the best curriculum and the best theory class, while the other would say YYY has more intensive training and more expert driving instructors. I'm thinking, maybe, if a uniform curriculum is established, no one would say,"I regret I enrolled at XXX. Perhaps, if I enrolled at YYY, I could have gotten my licence now because it has a far better programme." According to your report, the new curriculum has been carefully developed to impart quality training. It also mentioned that the new curriculum will be unified and the trainees will not be allowed to go for the road test unless they clear the theory part. I guess, by this is meant passing the 20-item online examination given after finishing the 10-day theory class. I'm not sure, though, if the process has been updated recently. It is great to know also that the new curriculum will include lessons on important vehicle parts. I agree this is a must. A new driver should know every vehicle parts, their functions and whether those parts are functioning properly.
