Under the big tent.

An evangelical church is reviving the tent revival When completed, La Carpa's 400,000-square-foot center in Cayey, Puerto Rico will be the largest fabric structure in the world, using 10 acres of fabric and holding about 55,000 people.

A tent-church may seem ill-advised for hurricane season, but its creator, American Spaceframe Fabricators International, says it will withstand 145 mph winds. And with a name that means "tent," La Carpa's structure fits its vision of bringing together religious people from around the world in its spiritual refuge.
