Unabashed Abhay has no qualms selling booze.

MOST actors try to portray a holier- thanthou image and claim how they do not want to endorse products like cigarettes, tobacco and alcohol. Many A- list actors such as Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan have stayed away from endorsing these products but the newer lot seems to be bolder. Abhay Deol is surely in another league and his ethics are different from most Hindi film heroes.

So he doesn't mind doing ensemble cast films and endorsing liquor as he explains: " I have no problem endorsing a liquor brand as there is no harm in that. In fact, doctors say that a glass a day is good for one's heart. But I will never endorse a cigarette brand as I feel it is a wrong habit and very harmful for health." " While one can drink responsibly, smoking becomes a fast habit. I don't want to be a part of that." Abhay is also extremely averse to beauty and fairness creams. He says: " I would never endorse fairness creams, which are demeaning. It's wrong to change the look given to us by nature." At the launch of a clothing brand he endorses, he was chatty. Abhay had a great time shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Milegi Naa Dobara and having recently returned from Spain, he reveals: " I did Zindagi because I loved the script. The story is about three friends. All three of us are the lead characters.

But then, I never demanded that I should be the lead in every film I do. If that was the case, I wouldn't have done Aisha ."
