Jordan's provider of telecommunication services, Umniah, recently announced the launch of its innovative Governorates "Muhafathati" Line.

First launching this service within different governorates in Jordan and more specifically in the cities of Kerak, Ma'an, Tafileh, and Mafraq, Umniah is now granting its users the opportunity to talk with fellow Umniah subscribers anywhere in the kingdom at the reduced cost of 0. 5 piaster per minute. Upon subscribing to this service, citizens of the above-mentioned governorates will also be receiving "Aghanilak" ring back tone (RBT) featuring Omar Abdullat's song related to their governorate, free of charge for the first month.

Umniah's Marketing & Customer Advocacy Director Mr. Omar Omoush stated that the company is thrilled to be launching this new product in the governorates of Kerak, Ma'an, Tafileh, and Mafraq, and that this launch will be followed shortly by similar launches in other Jordanian Governorates as well.-

"We are proud to be presenting our subscribers with a new service which facilitates this means of communication at very competitive prices. We decided to first launch this product in these certain governorates in Jordan, which will be followed by other governorates in the future, for we believe in the importance of benefiting the Jordanian community as a whole", he explained

Mr. Omoush further added that Umniah constantly strives to fuel the market with pioneering services, and he further affirmed that this is not the first of its kind nor will it be its last.
