Ultratech Inc (Nasdaq:UTEK) stated on Wednesday the preliminary voting results of its 2016 annual stockholders' meeting, provided by its proxy solicitor and accordingly the election of Dr Paramesh Gopi, the company's director nominee, as well as Dr Ronald Black and Beatriz Infante, the director nominees of Neuberger Berman.

Further, the board of directors will have seven directors and the others are Arthur W. Zafiropoulo, Michael Child, Dennis R. Raney and Henri Richard.

Additionally, the company said that all its directors are united in their commitment to improve stockholder value and this will be achieved working collaboratively with Dr Gopi, Dr Black and Infante. Aso, it thanks the resigning directors Rick Timmins, Nicholas Konidaris and Joel Gemunder for their service

The preliminary results also indicated that stockholders approved the other proposals submitted at the annual meeting, the company mentioned and added that final voting results will be filed on a Form 8-K, once certified by the independent inspector of elections.

Ultratech was founded in 1979 and it designs, builds and markets manufacturing systems. It serves three core markets, front-end semiconductor, back-end semiconductor and nanotechnology. It supplies lithography products, laser spike anneal technology for advanced semiconductor devices; and offers solutions through its proprietary coherent gradient sensing (CGS) technology as well as atomic layer deposition (ALD) tools.
