Ukraine : Norms of natural losses of grain at its storage in warehouses are established.
Norms of natural losses of grain and products of its processing during storage at grain depots and grain processing enterprises have been approved and the Procedure of calculation of standards of natural losses of grain and products of its processing during storage at grain depots and grain processing enterprises. The corresponding order of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine dated June 12, 2019 No. 316 was registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on July 5, 2019 under No. 742/33713.
It should be noted that natural losses of grain during storage occur at the expense of biological (related to the vital activity of the grain and microorganisms in it) and mechanical (cutting of grain dust during unloading and loading operations during the reception and release of grain) factors.
The Order establishes uniform rules and rules for displaying in the quantitative and qualitative accounting of grain and products of its processing, writing off the norms of natural losses.
Since the Tax Code of Ukraine does not provide for the independent determination of the economic norms of natural losses of grain by the entities, the approval of the norms will allow the grain warehouses and grain processing enterprises to operate on the basis of valid accounting programs and automatic information-analytical complexes of service of these enterprises without cost.
It allows to keep proper and correct accounting and to form operations with grain and products of its processing at grain warehouses and grain processing enterprises.
