Uganda : CANADA stops funding CROSSROADS in UGANDA.

The government of Canada will not provide funds to Crossroads anymore, for being anti-gay.

Crossroads is an Evangelical charity working in Uganda, which views homosexuality as a 'perversion' and a 'sin' (which according to all religions it is).

The charity will not receive further financial support until officials will probe it.

The Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA)'s Julian Fantino confirmed : 'I have asked officials to review this organization before further payments are made'.

CIDA has offered $544,813 to the charity to 'help dig wells, build latrines and promote hygiene awareness in Uganda'.

The Crossroad's website carried a list of 'sexual sins' deemed to be 'perversion' - 'Turning from the true and/or proper purpose of sexual intercourse; misusing or abusing it, such as in pedophilia, homosexuality and lesbianism, sadism, masochism, transvestism, and bestiality'.

It also urged 'sinners' to 'repent' saying : God cares too much for you (and all of His children) to leave such tampering and spiritual abuse unpunished .
