 UTILITIES CONGRATULATE MICHIGAN ATTORNEY GENERAL FRANK KELLEY
 LANSING, Mich., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Utilities serving more than 1 million Michigan residents today congratulated Michigan Attorney General Frank Kelley on his receipt of the public service award from the American Public Power Association (APPA). The award is given to an elected or appointed official in recognition of substantial contribution to municipally owned utilities nationwide and to the official's local community. APPA is the national association representing municipally owned utilities.
 Michigan Municipal Cooperative Group (MMCG) Steering Committee Chairman Joseph Wolfe said, "Frank Kelley's efforts have saved Michigan citizens billions of dollars on their electric bills. This keeps Michigan competitive and helps keep jobs and industry in Michigan. Attorney General Kelley deserves this award and we congratulate him on it."
