USIS launches audiovisual division.
The new group will focus on two primary technology applications: corporate presentation, training, & videoconferencing, and next generation, LEED-based building management solutions.
The division will be headed by Bill Baretz and Todd Hutchins, two audiovisual experts with a collective 40 years of industry experience.
Throughout the duration of their careers, the two have worked in both the manufacturing and integration-sectors of the audiovisual industry. Prior to joining USIS Audiovisual, Baretz and Hutchins worked side by side at Vertex Corporation as well as Crestron Electronics.
"True audiovisual system integration requires expertise that extends far beyond the technology, because it needs to be carefully coordinated with every aspect of a construction project--millwork, electrical, IT, ceiling tile systems, lighting, and HVAC," said Baretz.
"Today's successful AV system deployment requires that an integrator not only have a strong command of the technology, but an equal level of expertise in architecture and construction. USIS Audiovisual will offer unique value to its customers by" having AV resources, carpenters, and electricians all working together within the same-organizational structure," Hutchins added.
"We will use these resources strategically in order to deliver to our customers a better finished product, a smoother construction process, and an on time delivery."
