USB module developed for sound and vibration.

The DT9837B Module for portable noise and vibration measurement simultaneously samples up to four 24-bit integrated electronic piezoelectric (IEPE) sensor inputs at a sampling rate of up to 105.4-kHz per channel. The module is self-powered via the USB connection to a PC or laptop. Four modules can be triggered simultaneously for synchronized measurements on up to 16 input channels.


IEPE inputs include the use of a 4-mA current source. Data streams are matched in time with synchronous tachometer input measurements. Single-value and continuous conversion modes accommodate input flexibility, and a rugged enclosure is provided for noise immunity.

Optional signal sampling ranges of [+ or -]10V with software-selectable programmable gains of 1 and 10 can increase resolution. Data Translation,
