 USAIR TO INCREASE SERVICE AT PHILADELPHIA ON MAY 1
 PHILADELPHIA, March 5 /PRNewswire/ -- USAir and USAir Express


will increase service from 283 to 295 daily departures at Philadelphia International Airport on May 1. Included will be the introduction of new nonstop flying between Philadelphia and Nassau; new jet service between Philadelphia and J.F. Kennedy Airport (JFK); reinstatement or additional flights from Philadelphia to Bermuda, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Montreal, Norfolk, Portland, Richmond, and Worcester. USAir will also add four more flights between Philadelphia and Boston to provide hourly service on the half hour from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. between the two cities.
 "Our expansion here illustrates the increasing importance of Philadelphia and the Northeastern United States to the strength of the USAir system," said Gerry Hankinson, USAir district sales manager in Philadelphia.
 The new flights to Nassau will depart daily from Philadelphia at 8:38 a.m., and arrive in the Bahamas at 11:38 a.m. Flights will depart Nassau at 1:05 p.m. and arrive here 3:58 p.m.
 Two new flights to JFK will depart here 2:11 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and be supplemented with a USAir Express flight which will depart at 9:57 a.m. New arrivals from JFK will be at 4:52 p.m. and 7:50 p.m. while the USAir express flights will arrive at 12:56 p.m.
 Members of the USAir Frequent Traveler Program will receive double miles on the new hourly service between Philadelphia and Boston and the new nonstop jet flights from Philadelphia to Nassau and reinstated Las Vegas service through June 30, 1992.
