 USAIR PILOTS TAKE NO POSITION ON MACHINISTS' STRIKE ISSUES
 PITTSBURGH, Oct. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- The USAir pilots Master Executive Council, a unit of the Air Line Pilots Association, today took no position on the issues in the dispute between USAir management and machinists represented by the International Association of Machinists.
 USAir MEC Chairman Armen Janzen stated: "The USAir pilots' working agreement remains in effect, and USAir pilots should report for work as scheduled. Pilots will not perform other duties. We call on both sides in the dispute to continue negotiations."
