USAIR OFFERS FARE SALE ON EASTBOUND SACRAMENTO FLIGHTS

 SACRAMENTO, Calif., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- USAir is sharply reducing fares on its nonstop service between Sacramento and Pittsburgh and between Sacramento and 56 other cities, including Boston, New York and Washington, which are served via connections through its Pittsburgh hub. The fare sale begins today for travel during the month of February.
 On sale is a new seven-day advance purchase fare between Sacramento and Pittsburgh of $298 roundtrip, a savings of nearly 48 percent off the standard seven-day excursion fare of $570.
 USAir is offering a special seven-day advance purchase roundtrip fare of only $318 for passengers traveling between Sacramento and these cities:
 Akron-Canton, Albany, Allentown/Bethlehem/Easton, Altoona, Atlantic City, Baltimore, Binghamton, Boston, Bradford, Buffalo, Burlington, Charlottesville, Columbus, Cumberland, Dayton, DuBois, Elmira, Erie, Franklin, Hagerstown, Harrisburg, Hartford, Islip, Ithaca, Jamestown, Johnstown, Lancaster, Latrobe, Lynchburg, Manchester, Newark, Newburgh, New Haven, Newport News, New York City, Norfolk, Philadelphia, Portland (Maine), Providence, Reading, Richmond, Roanoke, Rochester, Salisbury, Shenandoah Valley, State College, Syracuse, Trenton, Utica, Washington, White Plains, Wilkes- Barre/Scranton, Williamsport, Worcester and Youngstown.
 Both seven-day advance purchase fares offered for travel from Feb. 1 through Feb. 28 are non-refundable, require a Saturday overnight stay and must be purchased within 24 hours of making a reservation.
