USAID SELECTS MK FOR ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT

 BOISE, Idaho, April 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Morrison Knudsen Corp. (MK) (NYSE: MRN) announced today that MK has been selected by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) for a three-year contract to provide architectural and engineering services on worldwide transportation projects.
 Under terms of the "indefinite quantity" contract, MK will provide architectural and engineering services on an as-needed and usually short-term basis in USAID-assisted countries on highway, bridge, airfield, railroad, pipeline and marine projects.
 Potential assignments for MK include feasibility studies, technical and economic surveys of proposed projects as well as technical support for on-going projects. The scope of the work also could include environmental assessments, inspection services, acceptance testing and preparation and review of training programs.
 Morrison Knudsen Corp. is an international company serving the environmental, industrial process, power and transportation markets with complete development, design/engineering, construction, operating and financial services.
