USA WASTE SERVICES ANNOUNCES NYSE LISTING

 DALLAS, July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- USA Waste Services, Inc. (NYSE: UW) announced today that effective July 20 its common stock commenced trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol UW. The stock was formerly listed on the NASDAQ Exchange.
 "We are pleased to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange," said Donald F. Moorehead Jr., chairman and CEO of USA Waste Services. "We believe the new listing will provide broader exposure to a more diversified group of investors and offer significant long-term benefits for USA Waste shareholders."
 USA Waste Services, based in Dallas, is a rapidly growing solid waste management company performing both waste collection and disposal services in multiple locations nationwide.
