US band to play region.

TO SAY Wheatus, the band behind smash hit Teenage Dirtbag, have been through the wringer in the last decade is an understatement.

From lawsuits to line-up changes - post-traumatic front man Brendan B Brown could write a book.

The band, or what's left of them, will be playing at the Uchuldre Centre in Holyhead on September 16.

Tickets for the gig are selling fast as fans across North Wales succumb to the nostalgia of 13 years ago when the band were at their brief zenith.

Their debut single Teenage Dirtbag, featured in the film Loser, cracked the Top 40 BBC Official Sales Chart for a second time in March of 2011, 10 years after its debut at number two.

. ? Ticket cost PS11 and are available from Rozzys Rock Shop, Uchuldre Centre or online at
