US BioEnergy Corporation to Acquire Val-E Ethanol.

US BioEnergy Corporation recently announced it has entered into a letter of intent with the minority owners of Val-E Ethanol, LLC to acquire the remaining ownership interest of the company.

According to US BioEnergy, Val-E is building an ethanol plant near Ord, NE with a production capacity of 45 million gallons per year. The plant is expected to be completed in summer 2007.

"Partnering with US BioEnergy is an unexpected opportunity for Val-E," said Val-E board chairman Cliff Mesner. "Being a part of a larger organization whose roots are deep in the Midwest is a benefit to this project."
