US Airways launches Oslo service.
AIRLINE INDUSTRY INFORMATION-(C)1997-2009 M2 COMMUNICATIONSUS Airways (NYSE:LCC) inaugurated its first service between Philadelphia International Airport and Oslo, Norway, on 21 May.
The seasonal daily flights will be operated using Boeing 757 ETOPS aircraft with 12 seats in Envoy and 164 seats in Economy Class.
Flight US788 will depart Philadelphia at 20:35, arriving in Oslo at 10:35 the following day. Return flight US799 will depart Oslo at 13:00, arriving in Philadelphia at 15:45.
Oslo is US Airways' second Scandinavian destination, the first being Stockholm, Sweden.
