US Airways announces flights from Charlotte to Austin and San Antonio.


US Airways (NYSE:LCC) has announced that it is to launch flights to Austin and San Antonio from its hub in Charlotte, North Carolina, effective 4 May.

The airline said that the new route will be operated by US Airways Express carrier Mesa Airlines using 86-seat Bombardier manufactured Canadair CRJ900 regional jets.

Flights depart from Charlotte twice daily at 09:25 and 06:10, arriving in Austin at 11:35 and 20:20, respectively. Returns flights leave from Austin at 07:00 and 12:13 and arrive in Charlotte at 10:27 and 15:40.

The airline said that flights from Charlotte-San Antonio leave from Charlotte at 09:45 and 18:00 and arrive in San Antonio at 12:05 and 20:14, respectively. In addition return flights depart San Antonio at 07:00 and 13:00 and arrive in Charlotte at 10:38 and 16:38.
