 UNIVISION SPONSORS TRUSTEE DINNER FOR THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS AND SCIENCES, OCT. 23, AT THE PLAZA HOTEL, NEW YORK
 MIAMI, Oct. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Univision, the nation's leading Spanish-language television network, will sponsor the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Trustee Dinner on Oct. 23 at The Plaza Hotel in New York, it was announced today.
 Ray Rodriguez, president of Univision, will address the audience regarding the role of Spanish-language television in America, Univision's place in respect to all other networks from programming to operations, and its impact in terms of advertising revenue.
 NATAS trustees represent American television in the full spectrum of disciplines of the industry from station owners and managers to television journalists, producers, writers, actors and educators. The trustees also represent 95 percent of television geographically, coming from 17 cities and regions.
 The National Academy is dedicated to the advancement of the arts and sciences of television; to foster creative leadership in the television industry; to encourage artistic, educational and cultural excellence, and technical progress. NATAS recognizes television excellence through the presentation of the highly respected Emmy, both locally and nationally. Most recently, Univision was nominated for 52 Suncoast Regional Emmys.
