UNIVISION PLANS NEW FORMAT FOR MIDDAY SHOW
MIAMI, July 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Univision president and CEO Ray

Rodriguez announced today a new development for the leading Spanish- language network's midday schedule. "Hola America" will become "Al Mediodia," a fast-paced, highly visual news and information magazine show, with headline news, human interest stories and lifestyle reports.
"'Al Mediodia' promises to deliver the same high quality standard of news and entertainment programming that Univision viewers and advertisers demand," he said.
The show will be produced in Univision's state-of-the-art facilities in Miami, and will feature reports from across the nation, including Los Angeles, New York, and other key Hispanic markets. Rodriguez emphasized that this change will not result in any loss of jobs.
Univision, the nation's leading Spanish-language television network, reaches more than 90 percent of U.S. Hispanic households via its satellite interconnected broadcast and cable affiliates nationwide.
