UNIVISION NETWORK ANNOUNCES FOUR MAJOR APPOINTMENTS

 LOS ANGELES, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The managing directors of Univision Network Holdings, the new owners of the Univision Spanish- language network, announced today four major appointments.
 The managing directors announced the appointment of Jaime Davila as chairman and chief executive officer of the network, Ray Rodriguez, as president and chief operating officer of the network, Raul Torano as president/network sales and Andrew Goldman, as executive vice president of business affairs of the network.
 "The experience and knowledge of each of these officers will contribute to the growth and success of our network operation. We are indeed fortunate to have such able and talented people leading our network plans to develop the very best programming for our Spanish-language television audience," said Managing Director Jerrold Perenchio, on behalf of the partnership.
 Davila was president of the Univision network at the time Hallmark agreed to acquire the network from Televisa in 1988. Since then he has been group vice president of Univisa, a Televisa subsidiary in the United States. Prior to joining Televisa in 1985, Davila was responsible for the Procter and Gamble Mexican business.
 Rodriguez has been with Univision since August 1990. Previous to joining Univision, he was chief executive officer and worldwide manager of Julio Iglesias, the international artist. Prior to working with Iglesias he was manager of the financial services area of Deloitte & Touche.
 Torano has been with the company since 1984 and has been the executive vice president of sales for the network.
 Goldman was previously executive vice president of Univision Holdings Inc. Prior to joining Univision, Goldman was the senior vice president of Group W Broadcasting and Cable.
 Guillermo Martinez was reappointed as senior vice president of news and sports in addition to the reappointment of the other executive officers of the company.
 Univision Television Network reaches 90 percent of U.S. Hispanic households through its 29 station and 609 cable affiliates.
