UNIVERSAL STUDIOS HOLLYWOOD OFFERS SECOND ANNUAL CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS
SNEAK PREVIEW DISCOUNT PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTED BY NEW ATTRACTIONS
UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- For the second consecutive year, Universal Studios Hollywood will lower the admission price $7 for all California residents beginning March 21 until May 10, 1992. It's the largest discount program ever offered by the attraction.
The Sneak Preview program will provide Californians the opportunity to be among the first guests to experience the studio's new springtime attractions and entertainment. This includes classic cartoons characters Rocky and Bullwinkle's first "live" appearances ever as stars of their own comedy revue and the "Beetlejuice Graveyard Review," a rock 'n' roll extravaganza featuring Universal's classic monsters. Additionally, "Beethoven," the St. Bernard canine star of the April- movie release of the same name starring Charles Grodin, will appear in the popular "Animal Actors Stage."
A California driver's license or proof of California residency entitles a guest to $7 off regular admission for the individual and three other guests. Reducing the cost from $24.50 for adults to $17.50 and from $19 to $12 for ages 3 to 11, the savings can range from 29 to 37 percent.
"We want our California neighbors to be among the first guests to enjoy the first 'live' appearances ever of Rocky and Bullwinkle and our other new entertainment," said Universal Studios Hollywood President Steve Lew.
