UNITED STATES TOBACCO SALES AND MARKETING COMPANY ANNOUNCES PRICE INCREASE FOR MOIST SMOKELESS TOBACCO PRODUCTS

 GREENWICH, Conn., Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- United States Tobacco Sales and Marketing Company today announced a price increase of approximately 6.3 percent on all its moist smokeless tobacco products, effective immediately.
 A wholly owned subsidiary of United States Tobacco Company (NYSE: UST), United States Tobacco Sales and Marketing Company is a leading marketer of moist smokeless tobacco. The company's primary brands are Copenhagen, Skoal, Skoal Long Cut and Skoal Bandits. In addition, the company markets pipes, imported pipe tobacco, imported cigars and other tobacco-related products.
