UNITED MEDICORP, INC. ANNOUNCES SECOND QUARTER RESULTS

 DALLAS, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- United Medicorp, Inc. (UMC) (Boston Stock Exchange "UMI", Dow Jones ticker symbol "UMCI") today reported a net loss of $242,514 or $.01 per share, for the three months ended June 30, 1993, that compared favorably to a net loss of $550,163 or $.04 per share for the three months ended June 30, 1992. Revenues for the three months ended June 30, 1993 totaled $430,820 compared to $251,574 for the three months ended June 30, 1992.
 Eugene W. Aune, president and chief executive officer of United Medicorp, stated, "UMC made tremendous progress during the second quarter of 1993. We continued to ramp up fee revenues from our two new contracts for outpatient claims processing, and recruited two experienced healthcare industry executives to strengthen our management team and board of directors."
 United Medicorp provides third party healthcare claims processing, management, collection and accounting services for hospitals throughout the United States.
