UNITED INSURANCE COMPANIES ANNOUNCES AGREEMENT DALLAS, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- United Insurance Companies, Inc.
(NASDAQ-NMS: UICI) ("UICI") and W.R. Reesman announced today that they have entered into an agreement whereby UICI will acquire National Consumer Credit Guarantee Association ("NCCGA") from W.R. Reesman.
Reesman is the founder of NCCGA which has been a leader in providing credit services since 1988. NCCGA has reported revenues of approximately $6 million during the first seven months of 1992. Steve Lounsberry will continue in his present position as president of NCCGA and will also assume the additional responsibilities as the chief executive officer of NCCGA. -0- 8/17/92 /CONTACT: Vernon R.
