UNITED HERITAGE CORPORATION ANNOUNCES SHIPMENT OF HERITAGE LITE BEEF TO NORTHEASTERN FOOD CHAIN

CLEBURNE, Texas, Sept. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- United Heritage Corporation, Cleburne, Texas-based holding company engaged in the production and sale of lite beef and cattle, announced today that its initial shipment of Heritage Lite Beef(R) to its newest customer, a 250 plus store supermarket chain located in the Northeastern United States, equated to $120,000 in gross sales. This shipment of beef will be offered in a group of stores selected by the chain's management to establish marketing techniques for their area for the lower-fat beef product with a view of ultimately carrying it in all 250 plus stores.
Members of United Heritage Corporation's management team will travel to the Northeast next week for a "kick-off" luncheon and informational meetings with 54 representatives of the supermarket chain, including corporate executives, store managers, meat market managers, and other supervisory personnel. Those attending from United Heritage Corporation will include Walter G. Mize, president; Cindy Rigby, vice president; Bob Bouhton, executive vice president of National Heritage Sales Corporation, United Heritage's wholly owned subsidiary through which Heritage Lite Beef(R) is sold; and National Heritage's executive sales representative, Jon Wade.
"We are very excited about the opportunities our newest customer brings to us," said Mize. "The introduction of Heritage Lite Beef(R) in their stores will include full-page color newspaper advertisements, coupons, and in-store demonstrations, in addition to our visit and informational meetings. During the start-up period, we will develop additional advertising and marketing plans in an effort to insure that Heritage Lite Beef(R) is a complete success in this marketplace."
Mize reiterated that an executive of the Northeastern food store chain had estimated that, with proper advertising and promotional efforts, a chain-wide average of two head of cattle per store per week could be sold. Each head of cattle equals approximately $1,000 in gross sales for National Heritage Sales Corporation.
"Our intensified marketing efforts are starting to bring results across the nation," Mize continued. "Everywhere you look today, people want a healthier diet and are searching for products with less fat. We believe Heritage Lite Beef(R) is the answer to the search for a great- tasting, lower-fat beef!"
Mize also stated that he is pleased with United Heritage's financial condition.
"We are in sound shape financially," he said. "We have a solid net worth. We have no debt other than normal, day-to-day accounts payable, which are offset by receivables, and, as I stated before, our marketing efforts with Heritage Lite Beef(R) are really starting to pay off."
