UNITED ARTISTS THEATRES AT 69TH STREET GRAND OPENING SET FOR CHRISTMAS, FRIDAY, DEC. 25

PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- United Artists Theatres at 69th Street, a luxurious, nine-screen theatre complex in Upper Darby, Pa., is getting ready to raise the curtain to the public on Friday, Dec. 25.
This will be the first theatre in more than six years to operate in the 69th Street neighborhood. The theatre will also be the only one in the area to exhibit first-run major motion pictures. Located at 53 S. 69th St., the theatres are just one block from 69th Street Terminal, a major hub for public transit from all corners of the Delaware Valley. On Saturday, Dec. 26, Santa Claus will drop by the matinee crowds to spread his holiday cheer.
With plenty of cinematic variety and a seating capacity of more than 2,000, the new United Artists Theatres at 69h Street will open with eight featured Hollywood releases including Jack Nicholson's "Hoffa," "Trespass," "A Few Good Men," "Forever Young," "Aladdin," "The Bodyguard," "The Distinguished Gentleman" and "Home Alone 2."
Plenty of parking is available on-site in the free multi-story parking facility connected to the theatre by an enclosed walkway. Advance tickets may be purchased at the box office for later shows on the same day. For show time information, call United Artists Theatres at 69th Street, 215-734-0202.
