UNITED AIRLINES SELECTS WICAT FOR A-320 MAINTENANCE TRAINING

 OREM, Utah, Aug. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Wicat announced today that it has been selected by United Airlines to provide training systems for A-320 maintenance training. The contract includes two PC fileservers and 25 workstations configured in two separate networks. The systems will be installed at the United maintenance training centers in Chicago and San Francisco.
 United selected Wicat after an in-depth comparison of a number of competitive alternatives. The Wicat delivery systems include Novell network fileservers and 80486-based AICC-compatible student workstations. The training system will deliver Airbus A-320 courseware provided to United by Aeroformation, the Airbus training company.
 United joins a growing number of airlines who have selected Wicat to provide the training delivery system for Airbus Aeroformation courseware. Some of these include Gulf Air, Air Canada, Iberia, Sabena and Egypt Air.
