 UNITED AIRLINES LAUNCHES PARIS-GENEVA SERVICE;
 PARIS-ZURICH SERVICE WILL BE ADDED NEXT WEEK
 CHICAGO, Feb. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines has added Switzerland to its growing worldwide network with the launch today of new daily service linking Geneva with Paris' Charles de Gaulle Airport. The carrier also will begin daily service between Paris and Zurich Feb. 14.
 The new flights to both cities are timed to connect with United's services from the United States via its expanding operation at Paris.
 "We are delighted to add Geneva, and next week, Zurich, to our European network," said United Chairman and President Stephen Wolf. "In Paris, travelers from Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles can connect to United's non-stop services to Geneva and Zurich. We also will launch non-stop service between San Francisco and Paris April 5, providing another option for travelers to and from Switzerland. Additional intra-European service will link Paris with Athens in June.
 "We believe United's style and scope of service will be very well-received by the traveling public in Switzerland, which appreciates high service standards," Wolf added.
 United's services to both Geneva and Zurich will be operated with Boeing 727-200 aircraft designed to accommodate 24 passengers in first class and 109 in economy.
 Connoisseur Class passengers may use the first class cabin on the Boeing 727s when they are connecting to Connoisseur Class on United's trans-Atlantic aircraft.
 Trans-Atlantic flights from Paris are operated with Boeing 767ER aircraft offering three classes of service: first class, Connoisseur Class and economy class.
 The Paris-Geneva trip, Flight 914, will depart from Charles de Gaulle Airport at 9:35 a.m. and arrive in Geneva at 10:50 a.m. Flight 915, which starts Feb. 7, will depart from Geneva at 7:20 a.m. and arrive in Paris at 8:30 a.m. United's trans-Atlantic service now includes flights from the United States to Paris, London Heathrow, Frankfurt and Madrid. Intra-European service links London Heathrow with six European cities.
