CHICAGO, March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines announced today it will expand its scheduled service at Houston's Intercontinental Airport, adding daily flights to Miami and Washington, D.C.'s Dulles International Airport and doubling service to Denver.
All new flights will take effect March 2.
"These new flights will make it more convenient for our Houston customers to reach various cities in Latin America and Europe and to access our domestic system via our growing Denver hub," said J.C. Pope, president and chief operating officer.
The new Miami service will consist of Flight 760 departing Houston at 6:59 p.m. and arriving in Miami at 10:25 p.m. and Flight 277 departing from Miami at 7:10 a.m. and arriving in Houston at 9:16 a.m. These flights will permit convenient connections to and from Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Montevideo, Santiago and Sao Paulo.
The new Washington service will consist of Flight 1526 departing from Houston at 12:15 p.m. and arriving at Washington Dulles at 4:06 p.m. and Flight 1555 departing from Washington Dulles at 5:25 p.m. and arriving in Houston at 7:49 p.m. The flights will permit convenient connections to and from Brussels, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Milan/Rome and Paris.
The doubling of Houston-Denver service from two to four daily flights will provide attractive schedules throughout the day in this market. United has significantly expanded service at Denver, increasing scheduled flights from 179 in March of 1992 to 247 as of March 2.
From Houston Intercontinental, United continues to offer three daily flights to Chicago's O'Hare International Airport with connections to Frankfurt and Paris plus about 100 domestic destinations. United also operates daily round-trip service to/from San Francisco with convenient connecting service to Hong Kong, Osaka, Seoul, Taipei and Tokyo.
