UNITED AIRLINES' CHICAGO-SEOUL NON-STOP SERVICE WILL BEGIN TOMORROW

 CHICAGO, July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines will introduce non- stop service between Chicago's O'Hare International Airport and Seoul, Korea, beginning Friday, July 2.
 Stephen M. Wolf, United's chairman and chief executive officer, said, "We are looking forward to linking our largest domestic hub of Chicago, where United operates more than 400 flights daily, with the Korean capital. When coupled with our Chicago-Tokyo non-stop service, the Seoul flight gives consumers excellent schedule choices to Asia from the heartland of America."
 The new route will offer continuing service on the same plane via Seoul to Taipei, Taiwan, and convenient connecting service via Seoul to Manila, the Philippines.
 United will operate the new Chicago-Seoul-Taipei flights in Boeing 747-400 aircraft. United's schedule consists of Flight 851 departing from Chicago at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, and arriving in Seoul at 7:25 p.m. the next day. The flight will continue to Taipei, departing from Seoul at 8:50 p.m. and arriving in Taipei at 10:10 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
 Flight 850 will depart from Taipei at 8:55 a.m. and arrive in Seoul at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight will depart from Seoul at 1:40 p.m. and arrive in Chicago at 12:15 p.m. the same day after crossing the international dateline.
 The flights between Chicago and Seoul will be timed to allow convenient connections at O'Hare from points throughout the Midwest and the East Coast.
 United also operates non-stop service between Chicago and both Frankfurt and Paris.
