 UNISYS TO OFFER $250 MILLION OF SENIOR NOTES
 BLUE BELL, Pa., July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Unisys Corporation


(NYSE: UIS) said today that it will offer $250 million of senior Notes due 1999 under a previously filed $800 million shelf registration statement through underwriters led by Lehman Brothers.
 The net proceeds of this offering will be used for general corporate purposes including reduction of debt. The Notes are being offered to reduce the company's reliance on short term financing.
