 UNION NEGOTIATING TEAM TO RECESS SATURDAY
 The eight-member union negotiating team in the contract talks with


Ravenswood Aluminum Corp. will take a recess Saturday, May 16, to participate in a massive AFL-CIO Ravenswood Solidarity Rally at Fort Unity on the grounds of United Steelworkers of America (USW) Local 5668 at No. 1 Nu Chance Drive, State Route 2, south of Ravenswood, W.Va.
 The rally begins at 1 p.m. Jim Bowen, director of USW District 23, will serve as master of ceremonies. Among the featured speakers will be USW vice president George Becker.
 Also in attendance will be three state AFL-CIO presidents -- Joe Powell of West Virginia, John Hodges of Ohio and Ron Cyrus of Kentucky. Other attendees will include Elmer Chatak, secretary- treasurer of the AFL-CIO's Industrial Union Department, William H. Bywater of the IUE; Jim Baker, executive assistant to Lane Kirkland, president of the AFL-CIO, and representatives of other international unions.
 There will be ample photo and interview opportunities.
