UNIFIL officially declares the death of one of its soldiers and the injury of 3 others in a car accident today.

UNIFIL Military Spokesman in the South, Italian Colonel Diego Folko, announced officially today the death of one UNIFIL peace-keeping soldier and the wounding of 3 others in a car accident which occurred this morning.

In details of the accident, a UNIFIL tank, on board of which were the abovementioned soldiers, veered from its path this morning within the vicinity of Rashaya Al-Fokhar in the Eastern Sector region. He indicated that the 3 injured soldiers were rushed to one of Sidon's hospitals while an investigation has been opened into the incident.
