ULTRALIFE BATTERIES, INC. ANNOUNCES

 NEWARK, N.Y., Jan. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Ultralife Batteries, Inc. (NASDAQ: ULBI) has paid to Eastman Kodak Company (NASDAQ: EK) one million nine hundred and sixty-two thousand seven hundred and fifty dollars ($1,962,750) on Dec. 22, 1993. This payment was in final settlement of a note payable, future royalties, past inventory purchases and accrued interest on the promissory note.
 The prepayment of the promissory note to Eastman Kodak Company, in the amount of one million eight hundred thousand dollars ($1,800,000) and accrued interest, which was due March 12, 1997, is settlement of the final obligations under the Asset Purchase Agreement dated March 12, 1991, between Ultralife Batteries, Inc. and Eastman Kodak Company.
 Ultralife Batteries, Inc. develops, manufactures and markets lithium batteries for use in applications requiring high energy, reliable and longer lasting power sources.
