ULTRAIR SAYS 'PHOOEY' ON RESTRICTIONS; BEGINS $99 NY-FLORIDA SERVICE TODAY

NEW YORK, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Tired of paying a higher fare because you couldn't buy your ticket in advance? Tired of going to business meetings on weekends because the fares are lower with a Saturday night stay? Tired of paying a fortune for a one-way ticket?
UltrAir, an airline that begins flying today between New York and Florida, says "phooey" on restrictions. Believing business and spur-of- the-moment travelers should not be penalized, the airline provides one low fare for all seats on all flights every day -- with no advance/roundtrip purchase or Saturday night stay requirements. An added plus: the airline operates 727-200 jests with 34" pitch, providing more leg room than most other airlines.
With an introductory $99 one way fare, UltrAir offers daily nonstop service between New York's JFK Airport and Miami, Palm Beach, and Ft. Lauderdale. The fare is good for travel through Dec. 15, and is refundable with a service charge.
For restriction-burdened travelers not flying to the three initial destinations, take heart. UltrAir says it plans to expand service from New York, with potential markets including other Florida cities, Houston, New Orleans, Chicago and Detroit.
Passengers can purchase tickets through travel agents or through the airline's toll free reservations numbers: 1-800-ULTRAIR (800-858-7247).
