UKIP not extremist; You Say.

I WAS surprised, and saddened that your "man in Westminster' Ian

Hernon, described UKIP (May 25) as an 'extremist' party.

Has he forgotten that the UK Independence Party beat the LibDems into fourth place in the 2004 Euro-elections? That hardly makes us an extremist party.

And the latest polls show that UKIP is on course to double its north west representation this time round.

It is a non-racist party of common sense values. The only one with extreme views would appear to be Mr Her non.
