UGI ELECTS ANNE POL TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 VALLEY FORGE, Pa., June 29 /PRNewswire/ -- UGI Corp. (NYSE: UGI) today reported that Anne Pol, vice president, new product programs for Pitney Bowes Mailing Systems, a unit of Pitney Bowes, Inc., has been elected a director of UGI, a Pennsylvania gas and electric utility and national marketer of propane.
 The addition of Pol, 46, increases the size of UGI's board to nine members.
 Pol has held the new product programs post since 1991. Previously, she was vice president, manufacturing operations of Mailing Systems and vice president, personnel for Pitney Bowes, Inc. She joined Pitney Bowes in 1984 as director, organization planning and executive staffing.
 Born in Ireland, Pol holds a bachelor's and master's degree, both in English, from the City College of New York. She resides in New Canaan, Conn.
