UB, Naga forge South title tiff.

University of Batangas and Naga College Foundation arranged a title match in the South LuzonBicol qualifiers, while Lyceum Northwestern University stayed unbeaten in two games in the NorthCentral Luzon leg of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League (PCCL).

The winner between the UB Brahmans and the NCF Tigers will not only bag the South LuzonBicol varsity crown, but also earn a slot in the LuzonMetro Manila regional games set next week.

Both squads routed their opponents anew in the roundrobin tournament, with the Brahmans blasting Amando Cope College, 10165, and the Tigers cruising to a 9245 win over Computer Communication Development Institute of Sorsogon City in the doubleheader yesterday at Robredo Coliseum in Naga City.

In Dagupan City, the LNU Dukes got off to a 20 start in the NorthCentral Luzon roundrobin games held in their home court.

The Dukes drubbed University of Northern Philippines, 10262, but had to go through the wringer in their 7372 escape over La Finns of La Union. Jasmine W. Payo
