UAE Leaders Congratulate the Egyptian President.

The President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory cable to His Excellency Adly Mansour after he was sworn in as President of the Arab Republic of Egypt during the transition period.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has wished him success in his historic mission. He also stressed on the fact that the UAE looks forward to the Egyptian people realising their wishes for stability and prosperity.

The President said: "We have followed with appreciation and satisfaction the national consensus that has been seen in your sisterly country, which played a prominent role in enabling Egypt to get out of its crisis in a peaceful way, preserving its institutions, embodying the ancient civilization of Egypt and enhancing its Arab and international role.

The President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed that the UAE is linked to Egypt by historical and fraternal relations and is always looking to develop and consolidate these relations in all fields, for the benefit of the two countries and for the good of their people.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent similar cable to the Egyptian President.
