UAE Foreign Minister describes attack on oil facilities in east of kingdom as threat to stability of whole world economy.

New York, September 28, 2019, SPA -- Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, said that the terrorist attacks on oil facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia, condemned by various countries of the world, were terrorism and a flagrant threat to the stability of the entire global economy, not only the security of the kingdom or the region.

The minister emphasized the need to restore reason, protect maritime navigation and energy supplies, and to find sustainable solutions based on respect for the principles of sovereignty and non-interference in the internal affairs of states.

He made the remarks in the UAE's speech delivered at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly today at the UN Headquarters in New York.

The minister stated that the Palestinian Cause will remain the central issue of the Arab world.
