U.S.C.S. Union City original crew all on board.

USCS Union City is proud to say the original crew that opened the plant in June of 1980, is still on board. The plant was under the supervision of Manager, Jerome Scherer who was also managing the USCS Oakland warehouse. Mark Lorion joined the staff as Warehouse Supervisor, shortly thereafter.

The 1980 warehouse crew included John Costodio, Garland Landis, Jim Tiffany, Manuel Capaz and Sam Aradanas (who retired and passed away); Efren Garcia, Manuel Capaz and Miguel De Robles. John Reed joined on as Union City's first Engineer, responsible for the initial set up of the Engine Room and workshop.

Today, Jim Tiffany's current position is Plant Superintendent, Manuel Capaz is Warehouse Supervisor. Efren Garcia, Garland Landis, John Costodio and Miguel DeRobles are all Working Foremen. Jerome Scherer is Vice President, National Sales & Marketing and Mark Lorion is Vice President, National Sales.

Their 23 years of experience, knowledge and dedication is the foundation that helps Union City maintain its long standing reputation for superior service.
