U.S. LONG DISTANCE CORP. EXPANDS MANAGEMENT TEAM SAN ANTONIO, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Long Distance Corp.
(NASDAQ-NMS: USLD) announced today the addition of six new members to its corporate management team.
Phillip J. Storin has joined the company as vice president of accounting. In his new position, Storin will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting functions of the company. His background includes 18 years of broad experience in accounting and financial management. Most recently, he served as director of accounting for Dell Computer Corporation where he was instrumental in developing the accounting function as the company expanded to in excess of $800 million in revenues. Storin, a CPA and CMA, received his Master of Business Administration from Hofstra University in New York. Michelle R. Johnson has been named vice president of customer service. Prior to joining USLD, Johnson held various managerial positions in the customer service field over the past seven years, most recently with MCI Telecommunications. In her new position, Johnson will oversee all customer service, client relations and sales administration functions. Jon M. Rochetti has been named vice president of marketing. Rochetti's experience includes five years in various product management positions with MCI Telecommunications and three years with AT&T. In his new position, Rochetti will assume responsibility for the company's strategic marketing program, product development, advertising and promotion and customer communications. Rochetti holds a Master of Business Administration from Loyola University. Kimberly A. Parma has joined USLD as vice president of investor relations. In her new position, Parma will be responsible for relations with the company's shareholders, stock brokers, research analysts and institutional money managers. Prior to joining USLD, Parma served eight years with La Quinta Motor Inns, Inc., most recently as vice president - treasurer. Her background includes experience in investor relations, cash management, tax and financial planning. Parma earned a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. Stephen M. Wagner has been named vice president of direct dial long distance. Wagner's responsibilities include supervising a direct sales force of approximately 70 people. His experience includes more than 12 years in various management positions in the telecommunications industry. Wagner received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ohio State University. George M. Manley III joins the company as chief information officer. Manley was formerly director of management information systems for Southern Union and also spent three years with Ernst & Young. In his new position, Manley will oversee all corporate management information systems functions as well as strategic systems and development planning. Manley is a CPA and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas. "We are excited about these new additions to our management team.
