 U.S. HOMECARE OPENS NURSING SERVICES FACILITY IN NEW HAVEN, CONN.
 HARTSDALE, N.Y., Aug. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. HomeCare Corporation (NASDAQ: USHO) today announced that it has opened a new branch in the greater New Haven, Conn. area. This office provides nursing and personal care services to homebound patients in New Haven, Middlesex and Hartford counties. In addition to skilled nursing, home health aids and homemaker/companions, the New Haven office provides specialized home health care services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and medical social work. U.S. HomeCare also provides these service from offices in Bridgeport and Hartford.
 "The opening of the New Haven branch represents and important phase in our expansion plans for Connecticut," said Barbara Bernard, market general manager. "With three nursing services offices in Connecticut, U.S. HomeCare is one of the leading providers of home health care services in the Connecticut market. Additional expansion plans include a state-of-the-art infusion therapy facility offering a total integrated care package for the homebound population."
 Theresa M. Forys, R.N., B.S.N. will serve as administrator/branch director. She most recently served as administrator and holds degrees from Duchess Community College, Temple University and Western Connecticut State University. She currently resides in Southbury, Conn.
 The branch is located at 2440 Whitney Ave. in Hamden and is the third U.S. HomeCare facility in Connecticut.
 U.S. HomeCare is a leading provider of home health care in markets where it integrates nursing care and infusion therapy. Services are provided by approximately, 3,000 caregivers in five major markets through 24 locations, including three infusion therapy facilities and pharmacies.
