 U.S. HOMECARE OPENS HEALTH CARE FACILITY IN PITTSBURGH
 HARTSDALE, N.Y., Oct. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. HomeCare Corporation


(NASDAQ: USHO) today announced that it has opened a facility in Pittsburgh. The 14,800 square foot facility will provide home nursing services and infusion therapies to patients in the Pittsburgh area. It is the sixth major market for U.S. HomeCare.
 The state-of-the-art center includes a Class 100 clean room where infusion therapy fluids are compounded under conditions specified by federal regulations; treatment rooms for patients that wish to receive infusion therapy on-site; and administrative offices for operations, reimbursement, and nursing services. The Pittsburgh facility, located at 240 Alpha Drive, is in excellent proximity for serving the market.

 The Pittsburgh operation will be managed by Mr. John Streblick, a 13 year veteran of the health care industry. His responsibilities will include managing his supervisors relative to operations, sales and marketing and clinical services. Mr. Streblick spent several years with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, where he more recently served as general manager for Caremark, Inc., Baxter's home health care division. Prior to his tenure with Baxter, Mr. Streblick also worked for St. Francis General Hospital and Eli Lilly & Co. in clinical and sales capacities. Mr. Streblick holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh and is pursuing his M.B.A. at Carnegie-Mellon.
 U.S. HomeCare is a leading provider of integrated home health care services, including nursing care and infusion therapy. Services are provided by approximately 3,200 caregivers in six major markets through 24 locations, including four infusion therapy facilities and pharmacies.
