U.S. ATTORNEY BUDD APPOINTS FIRST ASSISTANT U.S. ATTORNEY AND ASSOCIATE
 BOSTON, Dec. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Attorney Wayne A. Budd today announced the appointment of A. John Pappalardo to the position of First Assistant U.S. Attorney and the appointment of Robert L. Ullmann to the position of Associate U.S. Attorney and chief of the Criminal
Bureau. Both Pappalardo and Ullmann have been with the U.S. Attorney's


Office for several years.
 Prior to his new appointment, Pappalardo served as Associate U.S. Attorney and Chief of the Criminal Bureau since rejoining the office when Budd was appointed by President Bush in 1989. He was previously the chief of the Criminal Bureau in the state Attorney General's Office, and Chief of the Public Corruption Unit in the U.S. Attorney's Office. Ullmann has spent the past seven years working as an Assistant U.S. Attorney; the most recent five years have been in the District of Massachusetts and the two years prior to that he served in the Southern District of New York, in the New York City office.
