U.S. ALCOHOL TESTING OF AMERICA INC. ANNOUNCES INCREASED REVENUES AND DECREASED LOSSES

 RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Gary S. Wolff, chief financial officer of U.S. Alcohol Testing of America Inc. (AMEX: AAA), announced today increased revenues of $1,814,000 for six months and $586,000 for three months ended Sept. 30, 1993, as compared to last year. Net losses for the same period were decreased by $1,744,000 and $1,495,000, respectively.

 For the six months ended Sept. 30, 1993, the company's operating loss included $841,000 from the drug testing technology development operations of its subsidiary, U.S. Drug Testing Inc. ("USD"). Losses from drug testing technology development for the comparable period last year were approximately $400,000. Inasmuch as USD successfully completed an initial public offering in October 1993 and is adequately funded, the company will not be required to advance funds for this subsidiary's operations.
 U.S. Alcohol Testing of America Inc. manufactures evidential and screening equipment for alcohol breath testing analysis used by law enforcement agencies and industry. Its subsidiaries include: U.S. Drug Testing Inc. which is engaged in the research and development of drug testing technology licensed by the company from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratories; U.S. Rubber Recycling Inc. which recycles used tires into flooring products; and Good Ideas Enterprises Inc., a manufacturer and importer of toys.
