U.S. ALCOHOL TESTING OF AMERICA ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF PRESIDENT OF ITS DRUG TESTING SUBSIDIARY

 RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif., March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Gary S. Wolff, chief financial officer of U.S. Alcohol Testing of America Inc. (AMEX: AAA), announced today the appointment of Douglas Allen as president of U.S. Drug Testing Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of U.S. Alcohol Testing of America.
 Allen retired from Alcon Surgical Inc. in 1992. He has acted as a consultant to USAT for the past three months. Allen has extensive experience in Food and Drug Administration (FDA) legal and regulatory affairs, quality assurance and Good Manufacturing Procedures. Allen has submitted more than 60 applications to the FDA with a 100 percent success rate. These applications include both 510(K)'s and PMA's for Class II and III devices. Allen served as chairman of Alcon's Patent Committee and has a strong background in patent application and patent protection.
 "We believe Mr. Allen's experience and expertise will be a tremendous asset to U.S. Drug Testing as we prepare to enter the drug testing market," stated Wolff.
 U.S. Drug Testing Inc. is engaged in the research and development of testing equipment for drugs of abuse, implementing technology licensed from the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory through the Technology Transfer Act.
 U.S. Drug Testing Inc. is a subsidiary of U.S. Alcohol Testing of America Inc., a manufacturer of alcohol breath testing equipment. Other subsidiaries include U.S. Rubber Recycling, which manufactures flooring products from recycled tires and Good Ideas Inc., a manufacturer and importer of toys.
