This naval history chronicles the deployment of German U-boats through the Straits of Gibraltar starting in 1939, describes their battles with British aircraft carriers and destroyers, touches on the Allied Operation Torch into Morocco and Algeria, and lists transport ships sunk by the 29th Flotilla. Thirty black and white photographs of German soldiers and vessels at sea are provided in the center.
